In September 2018 Gloucestershire Young Carers celebrated their 25th Birthday, that’s a quarter of a century this fantastic Gloucestershire based charity have been supporting young Carers and their families across the county.

Amongst othe celebrations throughout the year, Quayside were pleased to sponsor the Gloucestershire Young Carers Annual Fundraiser held at the beautiful Berkeley Castle on September 13th. It was a great evening to celebrate the achievement of the charity and those they support. The evening consisted of a drinks and canapés party with music from The Patesian Quartet and presentations from the young Carers themselves.

Following a short presentation and video of earlier celebrations from some of the Young Carers, guests were invited on a guided tour of the castle, something we’d highly recommend you find the time to do if you’re in the area.

We were pleased not only to share the evening with so many of the Young Carers, we were also fortunate enough to attend as a full team including partners and hear some of the stories first hand from these incredible young adults.
